The Concept
Null is a psychological movement-based film that follows the journey of Eric, who is lost in the void of time and existence. As life seamlessly passes, Eric is entirely consumed by his mind, numb and detached from his current surroundings as he continues to sink deeper into his subconscious, losing all sense of self.
Lost in this voided state of mind, an unknown distant light and energy lead him intodifferent dimensions as he questions his existence and reality. As his environment begins to dissolve around him and his perception eventually shifts, he strives to escape the void that has trapped him inside his mind, seeking transcendence as means of escape.
Backhaven was involved in the creation of the physical glyphs.
The Computation
Utilizing metal laser cutting technology, four glyphs were derived from the custom null logotype created by Sebastian Palencia.
