Backhaven is the design and research practice of Edward Park. After having been interested and involved in music, art, dance, graphic design, fashion, photography, and videography from a young age, he consolidated his interests into the study of architecture. After completing his bachelors and masters, he pursued a professional career in architecture, however, not long after beginning he realized the endless possibilities of design that was yet to be explored beyond the corporate industry.
His many years of experience in architecture built the foundation of his design thinking and process, so he made a leap of faith to begin his own design and research studio. Welcome to Backhaven.
